Most brands need a few months of preparation before the first franchise sale.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye is one of the most active franchise markets in the region, with 3,000+ franchise brands and 60,000+ branches (UFRAD, 2026). That is an opportunity and a challenge: investors have many options, so they only move on brands that look proven, organised and easy to run. Here is the roadmap we use at 7Grounds.<\/p>\n<h2>1. Prove the model before you sell it<\/h2>\n<ul><li><strong>At least one profitable unit<\/strong> with clean numbers for 12 months or more. Two units in different locations are far stronger.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Unit economics you can explain:<\/strong> average ticket, monthly revenue, product cost, rent ratio, payroll and payback period.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A manager who is not the founder<\/strong> running a location. If the business only works when you are there, it is not ready yet.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h2>2. Protect the brand<\/h2>\n<p>Investors buy the right to use your name, so make sure you own it. Register your trademark with T\u00dcRKPATENT in the classes you operate in, plan filings in the countries you want to enter, and keep domains and social accounts under the company.<\/p>\n<h2>3. Turn know-how into a system<\/h2>\n<ul><li>An <strong>operations manual<\/strong>: opening and closing routines, service standards, recipes or product specs, quality checks.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>brand book<\/strong>: logo use, store design, uniforms, menu boards and social media style.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>training programme<\/strong> for owners and staff, with a clear pre-opening schedule.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Approved suppliers<\/strong> so every branch gets the same quality at a known cost.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h2>4. Structure the offer<\/h2>\n<p>Decide what a franchisee pays and what they get: usually an entry fee, a monthly royalty and a marketing contribution (see <a href=\"\/franchise-fees-explained\/\">franchise fees explained<\/a>). Then define minimum space, location criteria, total investment range, expected payback and territory rights.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye has no franchise-specific statute. Franchise agreements are governed mainly by the Turkish Code of Obligations, the Turkish Commercial Code and competition rules on vertical agreements, so your agreement has to do the heavy lifting. Work with a lawyer who drafts franchise agreements regularly.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Build the investor package<\/h2>\n<p>Serious investors expect a short, clear pack: brand story, proof of performance, investment breakdown, the support you provide and the next steps. Many good brands lose deals here because the numbers are scattered and the presentation looks improvised.<\/p>\n<h2>6.
