Demand becomes clearer when a prospective customer takes a meaningful step: books a meeting, pays for a trial, requests a serious proposal or signs an appropriate letter of intent. Likes are not purchases.<\/p>\r\n<p>Write a narrow hypothesis: \u201cSmall companies in this city will pay to solve this problem within a month.\u201d Speak with people who fit it and are outside your personal circle. Ask what they do now, what the status quo costs, who approves a purchase and what blocks it. If you pitch first and then ask whether they like the idea, you may be measuring politeness.<\/p>\r\n<p>Next, offer the smallest credible version: a clear landing page, prototype or manually delivered service that fulfills the central promise. Track qualified prospects, serious next steps and the cost and time needed to serve them. Define in advance what result would justify proceeding or revising the offer.
