Jewellery and Gold Brands Expanding Across the Gulf 2026
Seven Gulf gold and jewellery companies made public, verifiable moves between July and October 2026: heritage houses crossing borders to new exhibitions, and gold platforms moving the metal onto phones. No company paid to be included in this list.
The Gulf gold trade is moving in two directions at once. The 22nd Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition, which opened on 28 September 2026, gathered 49 exhibitors representing more than 500 brands from 30 countries (The Peninsula). In Dubai, DMCC counts more than 1,500 companies in its gold and precious metals ecosystem (DMCC). The companies below are where that movement became concrete in the past three months.
1. Al Bakshi Gold and Diamond (Saudi Arabia)
Al Bakshi became the first Saudi exhibitor in the history of the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition in 2026, presenting its Nakhalat Al Baqshi collection alongside vintage pieces and designs inspired by Qatari heritage. For a Saudi house, a debut in Doha is a direct test of how a neighbouring market responds to its name. Source: Marhaba, 2 October 2026.
2. Ghand Jewellery (Qatar)
Co-founded by Jawaher Mohammed Al Mannai, Ghand Jewellery returned to the Qatari Designers Pavilion, sponsored by Scale7, for its sixth consecutive year, with a collection inspired by contemporary Arabian design. Six years of continuous presence at the region’s main jewellery show is how a young Qatari label builds the recognition that buyers look for. Source: Marhaba, 2 October 2026.
3. OGold (UAE)
Dubai-based OGold passed 1.5 million users and secured a strategic investment from Plug and Play Ventures. The app lets users buy gold and silver from Dh1, and in 2026 it added an OGold Platinum Mastercard that spends against metal balances and a jewellery marketplace. It has partnered with Botim, Aspora and Valura.ai, and plans to enter new markets across the Middle East and Central Asia. Source: Gulf News, 27 July 2026.
4. SellYourGold.ae (UAE)
SellYourGold.ae launched a free at-home gold valuation and buying service across the UAE, with no minimum quantity and no obligation to sell. Co-founders Rishi Vaya and Jash Vaya say the service grew from their family business, Al Fujairah Jewellers, which the company says has operated in the UAE since 1978. The company plans its first physical store in Dubai, with a wider UAE network as the goal. Source: Khaleej Times, 27 September 2026.
5. SAM Precious Metals (UAE)
SAM Precious Metals manufactured the 1,971kg silver bar, recognised by Guinness World Records and made from 99.9 percent pure silver, that underpins the first tokenised commodity launched under the DMCC and VARA framework. Tokinvest issues fractional digital interests in the bar, Brink’s holds it in custody, and eligible investors gained access from 7 September 2026. Source: DMCC, 7 September 2026.
6. Investnation (UAE)
Investnation, the investment app of Finance House, offers an in-app Bullion Account for buying, holding and selling LBMA-certified gold and silver of 999.9 purity from Dh250, at live market prices, as presented in Gulf News partner content in July 2026. It is one of several UAE platforms bringing bullion ownership from the jewellery shop to the smartphone. Source: Gulf News, 20 July 2026.
7. BTC Bullion Trading Center (Gulf and Egypt)
BTC Bullion Trading Center, the gold and silver bullion arm of the Nassar family, officially launched its first automated gold and silver vending machine at Nile City in Cairo, after piloting vending machines in Gulf markets in 2025. Set up in 2007, with family roots in a 1935 shop in Suez, BTC operates in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Egypt. Self-service bullion is a direct way to put a trusted name in front of buyers outside the shop. Source: Al Mal News, 7 October 2026.
What connects them
Whether the product is a hand-finished necklace in Doha or a gram of gold held in an app, the buyer in a new market asks the same question first: why should I trust this name over the houses I already know? The companies above are answering it in public, through exhibitions, licensed custody and physical stores. Seven Grounds follows these moves and connects jewellery and gold brands with high-end customers and investors across the Gulf.
