Company, brand, website, content and the first customers. What a new brand in Türkiye really needs to budget for in 2026, and where founders usually overspend or underspend.
For entrepreneurs
Many founders budget for a beautiful logo and an office, then run out of money before the first customers arrive. A launch budget should follow the path to revenue.
1. Company and compliance
Foreigners can own 100% of a Turkish company. An LLC needs a minimum capital of TRY 50,000 and is usually set up in 5–10 business days. Budget for a local accountant from day one: corporate tax is 25%, VAT 20%, and employer social security is around 22.5% of gross salary.
2. Brand and trademark
Name, logo, visual identity and a clear message for your target customer. Register the trademark with TÜRKPATENT before you spend on signage or ads, and plan Gulf registrations if you will sell there. (See our guide to protecting your trademark.)
3. Website and sales channels
A fast, bilingual website, a WhatsApp Business line and, if you sell products, a marketplace or e-commerce setup. These are your shop window for customers and investors.
4. Content and advertising
Photos, short videos and an advertising test budget. Start small, measure cost per lead and cost per sale, then scale what works.
5. Reserve
With TurkStat inflation at 31.51% in August 2026 and the policy rate at 37%, costs move quickly. Keep a reserve for at least three months of fixed costs.
